Questions about Garmin fenix 6

Bought the Garmin fenix 6 a year ago and am very happy with it. Never had any problems, would buy Garmin again. I use it mainly for mountain biking, road biking and jogging.

Unfortunately not, at this price it is a "standard" model - for Safirgass the watch is much more expensive - nevertheless, the "cheap" fénix 6 model I bought at Digitec has Corning Gorilla 3 Glass which is very durable.

Hello, Fénix 6 actually has maps installed but they are not Swiss maps, they are "Open Street Maps" which are never that detailed; you can still send routes to the watch with SwitzerlandMobility and navigate with the watch easily (hike/bike/fin).

According to garmin.com, the Fenix 6 standard version is only available in silver. Only Pro versions are available in black.

Snorkelling or swimming should not be a problem. I have already been in the sea with the watch and swim a few kilometres in the pool every week, which it has been doing for 10 months without any problems.

For music you need a Pro model. I don't have any experience with Bluetooth headphones and the fenix 6, but by all accounts it depends very much on the combination of headphones and fenix software version whether it a) works at all b) has no interruptions. Quality has never been criticised.

I went to the emergency doctor on Saturday and had to have my pulse, blood pressure and oxygen saturation measured. The doctor had a value of 97% and my Fenix6 showed 96%. So it was relatively accurate. The pulse was also exactly the same, even the doctor was amazed. But my watch shows me more than just the individual values. For me, the body-battery values have become a new unit that I pay more attention to. The balance between performance and relaxation has never been so clear to me. For me, there is now more rest time!
