Garmin eTrex Touch 35
It is not possible to do it wirelessly. But what is possible is that you download a GPX file to your mobile phone and then transfer it to the device via a proper USB cable (the Garmin has a USB mini port). But it's a bit of tinkering. I have also had mobile phones that did not recognise the Garmin.
TopoActive Europ" from Garmin can be installed via Garmin Express. I believe there is an annual update. I use the maps from OSM "Open Street Map" myself. Here the update is quarterly and individual countries or regions can be installed. Very detailed. An additional memory card is certainly useful.
Good evening! eTrex Touch 35 is a latest model and has more features. I like it because it has a touch screen, altimeter, it's more comfortable to use. But it's more expensive as eTrex 30. If price is not an issue, I would definitely recommend eTrex 35.
The housing of the device is very robustly made (rubberised). The preset user profiles include mountain biking.
Yes, you can, but you have to change the interface (under Settings) from normal USB to Spanner. You will be asked if you want to switch to mass storage. Answer this with No and navigate.
