Unfortunately I can't answer that : the microphone has the normal 3.5mm jack plug. I don't know the Sony a3000 model.

Yupp the X-Pro2 has a 2.5mm port.
This mic. has a 2.5mm IN as well, but comes with a 3.5mm Adapter
