FiiO X5 2nd gen
FiiO X5 2nd gen
Yes, it should work with 2x 512gb. I run the x5 2Gen. with 2x 400gb and it works fine. Due to the high capacity, the access times are a little slower, but that doesn't bother me.
No, no recordings are possible.
Unfortunately no, I also have the X5II and the only connection I can use is the Direct Line Out. The X5II does not offer any control protocols via USB. On the other hand, car stereos cannot handle such large storage devices as the X5II allows. Hope is offered by the announcement of the X5III, which promises Bluetooth connectivity.
First name / last name sorting is not possible. It is simply sorted by the first letter of the artist. This also applies to "The" and the like. The Beatles is therefore displayed under T and not under B as in iTunes.
Unfortunately, no, the setting options do not provide for this. However, for precisely such cases, there should be mixer adapters that mix both channels together on a single output.
In principle, all manufacturers must comply with this directive, which has prescribed a volume limit for all electronic devices of 85 decibels (dB) since February 2013 for health reasons. American products are usually about 10 dB louder. However, it is best to ask the manufacturer directly. https://fiio-shop.de/Link%20zum%20Formular:%20shopware.php?sViewport=ticket&sFid=5
Sure you can, if you would order it. Otherwise it can't be reserved for you
No, unfortunately not. As far as I know, no FiiO product supports .aa / .aax files.
Oh well... the main genres would be metalcore and alternative metal (60%), hip hop and trap(30%), classical(10%)... if you can reconcile that... think the depths should be detailed.
This is exclusively a music player and not a media player that can play videos.
The x5 2nd gen plays files sequentially from a folder. If desired, two adjacent folders can be linked so that after the last file in the folder, the unit jumps to the first file in the next folder. There is also a function for playing playlists. There are many things that are unclear to me. As I understand it, suitable playlists must first be created on the computer (M3U playlists) and then loaded onto the memory card. Unfortunately, I don't know any more about this. I am very satisfied with the device so far.
No, that's not a spelling mistake. Unfortunately! I also don't understand how such a good device can be given such poor battery performance. I have owned this device for almost half a year now and can only recommend it to everyone except for the battery life. The sound with the right files and headphones is simply brilliant!
No. Neither in the set-up, then in the use of my FiiO, nor in the (excellent) user manual did I see the term iTunes at all. I hope, however, that this will not deter you from buying the device! (E. Perret)
