That's it. The width is the width of the slots. Length is usually important and available power connections.

EVGA developed a new cooling technology a long time ago (iCX) and has "upgraded" the two 1080 graphics cards (FTW and SC). Therefore, the price is correspondingly higher.
I can't speak German so well but if your question was "Can I put this graphic card in my computer, will it run ?", well yes it will run but make sure your actual card isn't locked no your actual computer. Also I'm not sure if your power supply is sufficient so you may have to take a better one (if I don't mistake you have a 500W and you might need more like 650W to be sure).

Normally, the cooler on the graphics card is sufficient, but if you want to overclock, I advise you to buy a custom water cooler.

Short answer: No.
More detailed answer: Please explain to me how you'd influence distributors to get a product earlier if it's just not possible to get a hold of it in a decent quantity anyway? Bribe them? The product you order may or may not take 2 weeks for delivery. It may take 3 days, it may take 8, 14, 21, indefinite. There's no guarantee on delivery dates unless they are in stock.
Personal oppinion: Your best bet is probably to look for some other shop which may or may not be able to deliver the card sooner.
