I had exactly the same problem. I managed it with an HDMI splitter. I also connected a USB transmitter to the splitter. But that's all tinkering. I would only choose the beamer if you can solve this with a receiver. The picture is very large at short distances. That is really cool.
Hello, this will not work with the USB stick (tried) because the Power Point file types are not supported by the PC Free function of the projector. The supported file types for images and videos are listed in the UsersGuide page 57. Alternatively, the presentation can be realised via a NoteBook connected to the projector. Regards
Yes, no problem to put it on the table. This beamer also has an acceleration sensor, as is usual nowadays, because ceiling mounting is done using screws and a bracket on the lower side and the beamer must therefore automatically recognise the orientation, otherwise you would see everything upside down when ceiling mounting ;) (bracket not included, at least in my case).
Chromecast can be connected. Unfortunately, the beamer does not have an audio output, which means that the audio can only be played through the internal speaker. Unfortunately, the audio does not work via Bluetooth either, because it is then always a little behind the picture...
It depends on what you use as a source. It should work with a labtop or something... The beamer itself does not have an output (apart from the small, really awful speaker).
My distance from the front of the projector to the screen is 3.5m. This fills the width of a 4:3 screen 300x220cm for a 16:9 image. The further away, the bigger. If you only have room for a smaller screen, you may have to place the projector in the middle of the room. Unfortunately, the zoom range is not very large. The fan is located in the front right corner. If someone is sitting next to it, this is not so pleasant. In this case, you have to construct an air shield. Unless the projector is mounted on the ceiling. The projector has 2 brightness levels: very bright (ventilation is very loud), which reduces the life of the projector lamp, and Eco (fan has acceptable volume), which I find absolutely bright enough. I find the Blue-ray picture nice and sharp. I hope this helps you a little.
