Yes it is. The <1ms analogue technology has nothing to do with the mouse switches (regardless of whether omrom or kailh gm 4.0) but is implemented in the pcb board. Both variants are equally fast. But it is possible that in future batches kailh gm 4.0 switches will also be installed on the og xm1. They are a bit more tactile but apparently the clicks are a tad less 'satisfying'.
