Since Digitec receives the delivery dates directly from the suppliers, it really is as described on the homepage:
Currently not available and no delivery date available.
I would recommend activating the "Notify me when available" button. Then you will receive an email as soon as it is available again :-)
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find this edition in black on their website. The white one is the second version, it has an additional hole for cables on the bottom and the top cable-management-magnets are stronger.
Those are the only differences
The microphone must not weigh more than 2 kg including accessories to prevent the arm from dropping. This corresponds to approximately 4.4 pounds and is stated in the manufacturer's technical specifications.
Hello,
The joints do not need to be fixed with screws to adjust the angles. You can change the height or inclination directly during use. However, it is possible to adjust the resistance of the joints so that they offer more or less firmness according to your preferences.
The table clamp of the Wave Mic Arm LP is expandable up to 60 mm, which means that it can be mounted on tables with a thickness of up to 6 cm. It should therefore be possible to mount the bracket on a table with a height of 6 cm as long as the clamp can be opened wide enough to encompass the table.
Elgato's Wave Mic Arm (Low Profile) is compatible with the HyperX microphone, provided the microphone uses one of the supported microphone holder sizes. The Wave Mic Arm LP supports 1/4, 3/8 and 5/8 inch microphone holders, which includes most standard microphones, including the HyperX QuadCast.
Since no springs are used here, but simple clamps, the weight is not really relevant - even with heavier studio XLR microphones including a metal spider.
At 1.5 cm, you can't take the clamp all the way to the edge of the table, it won't be perfectly mounted. I had the same problem with a 1 cm thick metal edge, so I simply took a 1 cm thick piece of wood to widen the metal edge and it held perfectly.
