I don't know the 3000i, but I know the A9 from an allergy sufferer's point of view: Forget the modular filters, we use the Allrounder, which is included and it already makes a big difference. Put it in the bedroom and you feel like a new person ;-) Only the stupid lighting in manual mode cannot be deactivated, we covered it.
The appliance uses an ioniser. Does anyone know how high the resulting ozone production/exposure is?
Apart from Electrolux, nobody knows for sure. In any case, you won't die from it ;-) I have the fan on all day in summer and the windows closed (heat bäh!) and have no concerns about this.
The ionisation can be switched off
Remove the filter cover and the filter, then you are at the propeller. That's as far as I can get.
The unit only filters the air, it is not a humidifier
Yes, it's totally unfortunate, it's a shame they can't do better. Even with iPhone filters, you can't filter by model. They sell their rubbish now anyway........ Look at the price of the filters, the filters for the big A9 are more expensive than the filters for the smaller one............ Otherwise check the Electrolux shop, it might be more transparent.
It works to a certain extent. We noticed a slightly reduced amount of dust on the furniture. If you live next to a construction site or a busy road, the air purifier definitely helps. If you live in a clean and quiet landscape, the effect is negligible. Anyway, I must mention that the air purifier has done a great job in reducing invisible particles like PM10 and PM2.5. We tested at home with a third-party device.
Hello Leyla I have been using the device for over a year and can tell you the following. It cleans the air very well, whether from cooking or smoking. We don't smoke in the house ourselves, but if smoke does come into the house from the terrace, the Elektrolux immediately switches to a higher level and cleans the air. Cat hair is absolutely no problem, we have 4 longhaired cats ourselves. Just vacuum the device and the filter in between. The app is more of a gimmick that you don't necessarily need. I, for one, am very satisfied with the device. Greetings
According to our own research, a HEPA and activated carbon filter is installed as standard. Unfortunately, we don't have this option with the Breathe. I assume that you have a better chance of getting this directly from the manufacturer :)
