I don't know the 3000i, but I know the A9 from an allergy sufferer's point of view: Forget the modular filters, we use the Allrounder, which is included and it already makes a big difference. Put it in the bedroom and you feel like a new person ;-) Only the stupid lighting in manual mode cannot be deactivated, we covered it.

Is a basic filter included with the unit?

Depending on the brand, yes: "In addition to the BREEZE filter module installed on delivery, Electrolux offers 4 other special filter modules. Since requirements can vary individually and seasonally, the Pure A9 can be optionally supplemented with a special filter corresponding to each room air problem, depending on personal preferences."

Yes, it's totally unfortunate, it's a shame they can't do better. Even with iPhone filters, you can't filter by model. They sell their rubbish now anyway........ Look at the price of the filters, the filters for the big A9 are more expensive than the filters for the smaller one............ Otherwise check the Electrolux shop, it might be more transparent.

So we've had the Electrolux for a good 15 months. The filter lasts 12 months. However, the filter only removes odours for 2-3 months in continuous operation, after which no more odours are filtered because the activated carbon is saturated (completely normal). So if you want to filter the odours you have to replace the filter every 2-3 months.

It works to a certain extent. We noticed a slightly reduced amount of dust on the furniture. If you live next to a construction site or a busy road, the air purifier definitely helps. If you live in a clean and quiet landscape, the effect is negligible. Anyway, I must mention that the air purifier has done a great job in reducing invisible particles like PM10 and PM2.5. We tested at home with a third-party device.

Hello Leyla I have been using the device for over a year and can tell you the following. It cleans the air very well, whether from cooking or smoking. We don't smoke in the house ourselves, but if smoke does come into the house from the terrace, the Elektrolux immediately switches to a higher level and cleans the air. Cat hair is absolutely no problem, we have 4 longhaired cats ourselves. Just vacuum the device and the filter in between. The app is more of a gimmick that you don't necessarily need. I, for one, am very satisfied with the device. Greetings

Good day Kaltehand, The filters are designed in such a way that they last around 365 days when in full operation (24 hours a day). Of course, these are approximate values, as the strength of the polluted air plays a role, but this does not deviate greatly from the 365 days. During the development of the PURE A9, performance was the main focus and the primary goal. We can only recommend testing the device. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the PURE A9. We hope we have answered your questions as best we can. Otherwise, we will of course be happy to help you at any time. Your Electrolux Team

Does it also humidify?

Good day JWirth, Unfortunately, we have to disappoint you. This device is purely an air purifier, but it does that fantastically well. We hope you still like the Himalaya PURE A9. Your Electrolux Team
