I have experience with long hair. However, there is probably not as much long hair as with cats. There is a special attachment for the hair. Some of the hair is already "clumped" in this attachment. However, there are always some hairs that are pulled upwards lengthwise. These are then also wrapped around lengthways as they are pulled in. This is then a fiddly job to remove. But it's not too bad. Usually all the hair comes out at the same time. If there is a lot of hair, the container may be a little small with this model.

Haven't found a suitable battery for V12 at Galaxus. Otherwise directly from dyson.

Hello, no, you don't have to press this all the time. There is a "real" on/off button on the top. That was also the deciding factor for my wife.

No, it does not work. Lasts approx. 45 minutes in automatic mode. Otherwise, a replacement battery would also be a variant; it has a click system and can be easily replaced without fumbling.

Yes, we have a French Bulldog and it is exactly the same as the V10 Animal. Very light and manoeuvrable.
I bought exactly the same product, and it came with a switch. I would advise you to contact support directly.
