Has anyone had any experience with sleeping? If you have too hot in the room to fall asleep, can this fix it and make it more comfortable? According to the description, it should be for that too, but I prefer to trust honest customer feedback. Thanks already

Hey, we are now using the Dyson for the second season. In general, it should be noted that it is "only" a "fan", i.e. it circulates the air in the room, but does not cool it (no air conditioning), the accelerated air flow only cools in combination with the sweating skin. However, I still find it very efficient and pleasant. It is very quiet and a different kind of airflow. It also has a sleeper function. With the window open, it usually cools down quite well in the second half of the night (except on tropical nights). Thus, with a fan, it could then become too fresh and promote summer colds. It's important to drink enough, take in electrolytes (so that you can sweat enough😉) and let the Dyson cool (as in our case) at level 3-5, oscillating, for 4 hours when you go to sleep / first half of the night😄. What I personally find great is the filter function, it may be placebo but I really find the air fresher with the Dyson Pure Cool Me. The remote control and compact design does the rest and justifies the steep price in my opinion.

I need an extension cable for the Dyson Pure Cool Me. The instruction manual says that you must always connect directly to the mains and not via an extension cable or multiple socket. I think it needs a special extension cable with at least 40 watts. I only need a short piece (50-100cm would even be enough). Do you know what kind of cable can be used without risking the functionality of the Dyson?

The Dyson has one big disadvantage. The external power supply. It is huge. Not big, but huge! It's a chic design, but it's not practical. So that I could still power it behind a piece of furniture, I bought a power strip. So the extension of the cable works fine for me and without restriction. The multiple socket is also no problem for me.
