You can take vertical shots with the standard RS 4 without the need for a special plate from the combo. The RS 4 supports native vertical shots, which means that you simply have to turn the camera round and rebalance it to take vertical shots.

I'm not sure whether the DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal is compatible with Sony A7 and A9 cameras. To check compatibility, I recommend that you consult the official compatibility list on the DJI website. This will tell you whether these models are supported by the gimbal.

The RS 4 is sufficient up to a payload capacity of 3 kg. If the camera and lens together are heavier than 3 kg, then the RS 4 Pro is the right choice. The Blackmagic PYXIS 6K is 1.5 kg, the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K is 1.1 kg, so the RS 4 should be enough. The Pro version alone is already heavier and you have to carry that in addition to the camera and lens.
