According to my research, the scanner can only read 1D & 2D barcodes (barcodes / QR codes), direct reading of a character string unfortunately does not seem to be possible.
No drivers needed for Mac, works fine right away. Appears as keyboard in the Bt list.
QR deposit slips are best scanned with the PayEye - Swiss QR Code Reader. This is the best way to enter the data in the corresponding fields. Many banks / post offices also offer scanning with a "normal" camera (webcam), but it requires an autofocus.
