Hi love song27 As far as I can see, you don't need an intermediate amplifier, but should be able to connect your turntable directly via RCA cable. If you want to be on the safe side, write to Denon's customer support: https://www.denon.com/de-de/support/home. By the way, I can highly recommend the Denon DRA-F109DAB. I bought it in 2015 and am still very happy with it. Super performance, beautiful design. Kind regards Konrad

The amplifier has no phono input, i.e. either the turntable must have a built-in phono preamplifier or it must be connected via an external phono preamplifier (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/phono-vorverstaerker-1452). According to the Denon DP-300F data sheet, there is one built-in (switchable). It only has to be switched on and then you can connect the record player to a line in.
