I own a record player (Denon DP-300F) and I assume that this can be connected to the Analog In input without any problems?

The amplifier has no phono input, i.e. either the turntable must have a built-in phono preamplifier or it must be connected via an external phono preamplifier (https://www.digitec.ch/de...).
According to the Denon DP-300F data sheet, there is one built-in (switchable). It only has to be switched on and then you can connect the record player to a line in.
