Of course the monitor fits on the Air or Pro, in my case with HDMI cable and USB-C hub.
With sufficient distance to the monitor, the picture is super, so it's great as a second monitor.
Less good as the only monitor, the 1920x1080 resolution (and PPI) at 22" is not ideal for the Macbook.
Less sharpness and less on the screen.
I will probably switch, to QHD 2560×1440, e.g. Dell P2421D/DC or similar.
Dear Stefanie
I bought the same screen as well. The cable that came with it has an HDMI connector at both ends. I therefore had to buy a cable separately (one side HDMI and the other USB-C).

For the "FullHD" resolution of this monitor, you don't even need a cable that supports 4k or UHD or even higher resolutions, i.e. any HDMI-HDMI cable currently available should work in principle.
For a notebook or mobile setup (where the cable is often laid and plugged in), you should perhaps not choose the stiffest cable or the cheapest/fragile connectors - just study the corresponding customer reviews for the possible candidates.
