Helpful answer

Hello. My answer is yes. Although nothing is indicated on the cable, I did a speed test (BlackMagic Disk Speed Test) with the original cable: write 924.5 Mb/sec and Read 925.2 Mb/sec. Then I did the same test with a Thunderbolt 4 cable labelled Thunderbolt 4: write 868.4 Mb/sec and Read 921.9 Mb/sec. My Mac Studio has Thunderbolt4 ports on the back and USB-C ports on the front. With the right cable, there's not much difference in speed between these ports (front and rear). Warning: not all USB-C - USB-C cables can be used with SSDs. For example, a USB-C - USB-C cable used to charge a device (eg power supply) (iPhone or camera or charger, etc) will not work at all with an SSD. You really need Thunderbolt cables. I hope I've been able to help you.
