Those battery life Times are not normal ive owned mine for over 2 years still last for over a day of constant use (min12 hours). As for whirring and noises that may be sidetone acting up or a defect.
If you don't read the specs before you buy the headset, don't be surprised if a feature isn't included.
I only use the headset via dongle, so I can't help you with your Bluetooth problem. But have you tried the switch (wired/wireless) on the right earcup?
And maybe this will help: https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/174704-corsair-virtuoso-rgb-wireless-xt-bluetooth-doesnt-connect/
Unfortunately, our supplier doesn't provide them separately, but you can get the spare parts from Corsair EU directly for this model (SKU: CA-8910111). They ship to Switzerland when you select EU (not DE).
Hey, the headset works with macOS, ICUE is required. So on my Mac from 2018 it didn't work but on my current Macbook Pro without any problems. However, configuring and "controlling" the headset takes a bit of getting used to. But once you have everything set up, it works flawlessly and very high quality.
I would try Corsair customer service. They are very helpful. I asked them for replacement ear pads (without wanting a warranty or anything, I just wanted to buy them). They sent them to me free of charge.

Icue installed? Firmware up to date? I have been using the headset every day for several months and it always works...
P.S.: Try a different USB port for the receiver...

In theory, yes. On the PC, you first have to set the dongle to playstation mode via icue, then you can use the BT function for Discord via PC or, even better, smartphone.
I have owned this headset for a short time and am basically very satisfied with it. However, I have noticed two points that are annoying:
1. the battery lasts at approx. 20% volume, 33% LED and without Mic. approx. 5-6 hours. I find this very short. Are these values normal?
2) I constantly hear a very low hissing/whirring noise from the headset. At first I thought it was a noise and tried different USB ports. To no avail. Interestingly, the noise is even louder with a cable connection. Does anyone have similar experience?
Personally, I expect absolute perfection from headphones in this price segment. My Astro A50, which is getting on in years, has a massively better battery life with 0 noise...
Hello everyone, I have already had the headset replaced once under warranty. The reason for this was that I permanently have a quiet but very annoying noise on the headphones. It doesn't matter whether the headset is connected wirelessly, by cable or via bluetooth to a device. The noise is even there when the headset is not connected to any device and is simply in "stand-by". With the replacement it was fine at the beginning, but after about an hour the same problem occurred again. Has anyone had similar experiences? Is it my headset or is that just the way it is with these headsets?
I've owned this headset for two days now. Firstly, for the price I thought it could do ANC, unfortunately not. Secondly, this headset is a pain in the arse when used via Bluetooth. When connected via Bluetooth, the battery status LED only flashes red all the time, even though the headset is fully charged. Connection with ICE does not work via Bluetooth either. Only when the headset is connected either via USB wireless does ICE recognise this headset and the battery status LED is then also green. Does anyone else have this problem?
