Have you activated the XMP profile in the BIOS for the RAM?
hey, i have the 2x 16GB of these sticks running on a MSI B450 Tomahawk @3333Mhz. my cpu is a 2700X, so i'm pretty sure it will work with a 3700x as well. the Tomahawk board is a good choice, it has enough power for a 3900x.
Would you rather have a 2-year Pick Up & Return guarantee and then have it break down after 2.1 years?
Yes, that fits. Activate XMP 1 or 2 in the BIOS, otherwise they will only run at 2133 MHz. Somewhere in the BIOS, the SPD information of the memories is probably displayed; there you can see whether XMP1 or 2 must be activated. If you set it incorrectly, the mainboard may no longer boot; then a CMOS reset will help. I also recommend doing a BIOS update.
Have you ever tested them individually? And in different slots?
Yes, the bars are supported (you can also check here: https://rog.asus.com/ch-de/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b550-f-gaming-wi-fi-model/helpdesk_qvl_memory).
This order was already an upgrade because I already had 16Gb. So no, not at the moment.
Is Windows up to date including all drivers? If so, check whether your BIOS is running on the latest firmware. For me, it was the latter. Otherwise, take parts and test them in a different setup, so you can determine whether the parts are defective, if defective then you should be able to apply the warranty to my knowledge :)
In general, Corsair Vengeance is widely supported. Therefore, I strongly assume that it is compatible. Especially since Ryzen is no longer as sensitive as it was in the early days and the first generation. Just don't forget XMP. Otherwise it won't work with 3200 MHz.
Hello, I have this same RAM; and like CL, it is CL16! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
3200 MHz each
On the manufacturer's page you will find the compatibility list of the RAM: https://www.gigabyte.com/ch/Motherboard/X570-GAMING-X-rev-10/support#support-dl Here you select "For AMD Matisse CPU". It may well be that your RAM is not on the list. However, it should still work as this motherboard is made for DDR4 3200MHZ. I have exactly the same RAM installed, although it was not on the list. (Asus strix B450i)
Probably already. After all, the new processors are also supposed to run on the current AM4 mainboards. But it's best to wait for Computex. PS: In principle, RAM prices should continue to fall.
This is the black colour... It also comes in white and red... No, they don't give light... It is not RGB... The product descriptions come from the manufacturer and can apply to several products of the same series. I can't answer the question, but I can say that with the new AGESAs (from 1.0.0.6) you can also run Hynix RAM usually 3000Mhz+.
Problem has been solved it is the processor that can max. 2166MHz. How high do you think I can overclock the memory clock frequency of the processor?
No, of course you can add 2x8GB. You just have to be careful with the clock speeds. Which CPU do you have in mind? Then I can help you a little further ;) LG TheNikk
I have now done a little research myself and have come across the following result: Apparently, this RAM does not always work in combination with this MB. It is recommended to take the HyperX Predator instead (DDR4-3200MHz) - these seem to work in the combination.
Yes, this is normal DDR4 Ram beautifully packaged and overclocked... As a cheaper alternative I can recommend the following if you want to save a little money... HyperX Fury (2x, 8GB, DDR4-2133, DIMM 288)
In my opinion yes, at least this is what the official list from AMD says -> https://www.amd.com/system/files/2017-06/am4-motherboard-memory-support-list-en_0.pdf
