Hello, I received 3 of these fans today. After I had installed them and connected them in series to the existing controller, I discovered that none of the 3 fans worked.

Grad gefunden --> Note: The hardware on the controller and hub is identical to that provided, and intended for the SP120 RGB fans. But the programming of the controller is different. SP120 RGB fans will NOT work with the controller for the HD120 RGB fans, and vice versa.

CorsairLighting Pro for the lighting, and 3 pin connector to the mainboard processor fan to control it in the bios Uefi speed. I don't have an RGB header. Is it possible to synchronise the colours with Corsair Link or to control them with the LED strips?

If the RGB cable is not connected then nothing can be done ... Which mainboard do you have? And do you have a Lightning Node or Commander Pro?

No. Corsair actually only makes them in this size. So there are no SP140 RGBs (yet) that are exactly the same as this model.

Yes, the controller is absolutely necessary. And unfortunately you can only control them via this. I also find it a shame that you can't even connect them to the Corsair Link. They don't have any connections such as USB or similar. It doesn't work with ASUS either. Of course, you can control the speed of the fans if they are connected to the Corsair Commander, as is the case with me. The colours are connected to the supplied controller via a second cable on the fan and controlled. Hope this helps 😉
