The Corsair iCUE H100i Elite LCD XT AIO does not fit perfectly at the top of the case, as the case has space for a 240mm radiator in the top. The H100i Elite LCD XT is a 240mm AIO, but is usually mounted on the front or bottom for the best cooling performance. Top mounting could be problematic due to limited space and potential airflow interference. It is advisable to install the AIO at the front to achieve the best performance.

The Corsair iCUE H100i Elite LCD XT AIO should fit into the Corsair iCUE 4000X case, as the case supports radiators up to 240 mm. However, the exact placement depends on the mounting, as the case offers specific mounting options for radiators. It is advisable to check the mounting options in the case to ensure that the AIO can be installed correctly.

You can attach an NZXT Kraken 360mm AIO to the top of the case, as the case offers compatibility for radiators up to 280mm with Corsair LPX DRAM. However, it is important to note that the Kraken 360mm is larger than the recommended size. So it might not fit directly without adjustments or special mounting methods. It would be advisable to check the exact dimensions and mounting options to ensure that the AIO cooler can be installed correctly.

the ram belongs on the mainboard...with this case you have enough space for your 240mm aio after installing the ram...also advise you to download the corsair icue4 software for rgb control of all corsair products directly from corsair for free...here more infos to https://www.corsair.com/de/de/Kategorien/Produkte/Geh%C3%A4use/Mid-Tower-ATX-Geh%C3%A4use/iCUE-4000X-RGB-Tempered-Glass-Mid-Tower-ATX-Case/p/CC-9011204-WW

I also have the 4000X with Node Core and so far no problems. A few general notes: I assume that the iCUE and OS are up to date. The Node Core has had a few firmware updates, also on it? Maybe you could swap the connections of the fans on the Node Core, then you can see whether the problem is more port-related and moves along or the fans.... I hope this helps ...

Are the fans loud

With the iCUE software, they can be turned down to 0 via the temperature control. But even in normal operation, the noise was moderate. In my setup, however, I used the H100 wakü for CPU ventilation.
