That iMac takes max 16GB 1066 in 4 slots, so probably has 2x2GB and 2 slots free. Looks like the usual upgrades are to add 2x4GB 1066 or replace with 4x4GB 1066, so I would be quite surprised if 2x8GB 1333 will work. It's late 2009 so don't expect any more High Sierra updates :( I also read something about a fan noise issue if you are replacing the original drive.

http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i5-2.5-13-mid-2012-unibody-usb3-specs.html Official Apple: 8 GB max But it supports up to 16 GB of 1600 mhz RAM. The ones you selected are only 1333 mhz. I recommend these: Corsair Vengeance (2x, 8GB, DDR3-1600, SODIMM 204)

Hello, Always tricky to take memory for Apple, personally I go on the site of Kingston (http://www.kingston.com/de/memory/desktop-notebook) or Corsair (http://www.corsair.com/fr-fr/corsair-mac-memory-16gb-dual-channel-ddr3-sodimm-memory-kit-cmsa16gx3m2a1333c9) and to know or know how to modify its mac on the site iFixit (https://eustore.ifixit.com/en/home/) What you need to take into account is the official or maximum frequency that the iMac can maintain, for your iMac it is clear that you need DDR3 SODIMM type. I let you check with the reference sites I gave you.
