There was a comment that the teleconverter did not work on the Canon F2.8 70-200 RF lens. Is this still the case today? Has nothing changed in this regard? Very confusingly, I find videos with the teleconverter 2x and the F2.8 70-200, but very likely it is still the EF lens.

Does the RF 2x teleconverter work on the Canon 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM RF? Are the images then still usable at max. focal length? Does anyone have experience with this?

Yes, but the aperture values are then no longer quite so great

The converter protrudes 17 mm into the lens and this piece has a diameter of 39 mm.

Does the converter go with the RF 24 - 105 mm f4 L series?

No. And it makes little sense to turn a 24-105 f4 into a 48-210 f8. Canon also massively restricts the usability of this extender / teleconverter. It currently only works with the 100-500 and the two dark teles with f11 and 600 and 800mm. It doesn't even work with the 70-200 f2.8. What Canon thought of this will probably remain a mystery.
