There was a comment that the teleconverter did not work on the Canon F2.8 70-200 RF lens. Is this still the case today? Has nothing changed in this regard? Very confusingly, I find videos with the teleconverter 2x and the F2.8 70-200, but very likely it is still the EF lens.

Why should anything change? It probably doesn't fit mechanically in the RF version.  EF and RF are also clearly distinguishable.
