I take a Canon RF 600mm f/4 L IS USM with 2x extender, then I have about the same...only 9000 Fr. cheaper....The same with the 800 5.6 with 400 2.8 and extender 2x....

Yes, nobody understands these prices. No idea who should buy a 1200. It's too long and not flexible enough for almost everything. Better a 600 with a TC.
