I think so - according to the Canon website (technical data), the 60D has a 3.5 mm jack for external microphones.
If the Sony camera has a 3.5mm jack connector for a mic, the mic can be connected.
Whether the Canon mic can somehow/where be easily/practically mounted directly on the Sony camera.... no idea.
Yes, it is explicitly stated in the description. But just to be sure: it must be the Mark III. The Mark II does not have a micro-port.
