This description is also puzzling for me. But I can confirm that the door opens easily and that the freezer is of very high quality. We are satisfied with it.
Hello Selina The model has a total of 4 drawers: 3 drawers of approx. 20cm, 1 large drawer of approx. 28cm. In addition 3 shelves, 2x approx. 14cm, 1x approx. 21cm. The top one of 14cm is narrowed towards the back and has less space. It has an icetwister, but it takes up quite a lot of space, approx. 10x40cm built into a 20cm drawer, behind which there is a small amount of space that is easily overlooked. The ice production works well, but the yield is very poor. I.e. you have to make ice cream several days in a row and collect it in a bag. I think you could also take it off when not in use. Still a great device. Greetings

Hello Manuela The ice cube tray is clipped into the side of the drawer and can be removed relatively easily. This would then create an opening in the front of the drawer accordingly.
No, the packaging must be somewhat larger than the unit. It cannot be folded up. The dimensions of the appliance are correct. The size of the packaging was not relevant when we received the appliance.
I don't know, who tests it and how? What I can say is that compared to just one energy efficiency level lower, the insulation is massively thicker, hence the larger external dimensions by at least 10cm....
