My Beolit 17 is "broken" after almost 3 years. The problem is that it no longer wants to charge - as if the battery had gone from "ok" status to totally dead from one day to the next. I have seen many reviews on Amazon with similar problems. The device is easy to open and is very well constructed, super quality. Inside a 2200ma battery, unbranded.... very undersized. It could also be the small USB-C port/board, but it looks good (no dirt, not worn out). Bang&Olufson no longer provides support after 24 months... Do you have any advice? Change the battery?

Tried it with another cable and socket and it worked again. No idea why.

Can I pair the speaker without the B&O app? With my LG beamer, which doesn't offer this app? If so, I'll get it right away.

The speakers can be paired completely without an app. (It never worked properly until 2-3 months ago anyway). As long as the transmitter device is Bluetooth-capable, it's no problem. I connected them to my record player completely without an interface and even that worked. So buy it immediately and enjoy the great sound ;)

Is it possible to use this box also as a playback device for the soundtrack of a film? I had bought an older B&O box the other day for this purpose and it had very high latency, which unfortunately made it completely impossible to use it for this purpose.

Hello Alexander, I don't know what exactly you mean by using the soundtrack of a film, but maybe you can help me with what I do with it: I watch a film or football match via a stream on my MacBook which is connected via HDMI to the receiver and the beamer. I play the sound via Bluetooth on the Beolit 17 - this works perfectly and gives a good sound. I hope I could help you a little. Greetings Tomislav
