High quality stereo (headsets) or headphones are clearly superior in a virtual or real surround "5.1 7.1" headset. -No. Dear Sven, why don't you go and try out a headset if it costs so much money? Just compare a Medusa 7.1 or whatever with a decent Beyerdynamic headphone/headset. -Dt 770 -Dt 880 -Dt 990 (An Akg 701 or a cheap Q-Pad Qh 90/85) By the way, this headset is roughly based on the Beyerdynamic Dt770 but simply with a top condenser microphone.

After enquiring with Beyerdynamic dealers in Switzerland, I also found no possibility to test this model in Switzerland before buying and, just like you, had cold feet to buy such an expensive product on the off chance. In the end, I ordered my MMX 300 from amazon, as they offer an extensive right of return. In general, this model is the same as the DT770, except for the missing microphone, which you can try on in almost any DJ shop. (Other models such as the T50 look more similar, but have a different pressing force on the temple and are therefore not comparable in terms of comfort).
