It works with my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. However, it loses the connection about once a week, then I have to unplug it briefly and plug it back in with just the network cable, wait briefly until the connection is established, then plug in the power cable.
A Power Delivery USB-C charger is needed for this, one of these, for example, would be well suited because it also has enough power:

A USB-C port can be seen at the far right rear, it is labelled PD 3.0. A Power Delivery capable power supply is required, and yes, that would be passthrough.
You can simply turn the dock around. It's more or less upside down and then turned around. Then the connection is on the right-hand side. Belkin even offers this in its original description.

Charging a notebook via USB-C only works if a Power Delivery charger is used. A normal USB charger, such as the one supplied with a smartphone, does not work.
However, it will work with this charger, which can deliver up to 100 watts via the Power Delivery (PD) port:

This should not be a problem, via USB-C even 3840 x 2160 pixels can be controlled via HDMI, with the appropriate HDMI cable. For 3840x2160, depending on the hardware installed in the USB-C hub, this may be 30 or even 60 Hz.

In general, this docking station is universally compatible. You have an HDMI connection, a Displayport and a VGA connection here.
This allows you to connect three monitors to the docking station with the given cables and use them independently of each other (not mirrored).
In other words, you would have to attach the fourth monitor to the notebook.
Hello, we have exactly this dock at our school in combination with Macbooks. When the external monitor is switched on at the DP port, I have a picture signal on the HDMI output, which goes to Promethean ActivPanel. If I switch off the monitor, the image signal is also gone. We suspect that this is due to the power supply. I have connected the external power supply - but it doesn't help. If I disconnect the USB-C cable between the monitor and the dock, I still have a picture signal. It's only when I switch off the monitor that the fun stops. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? The power supply only delivers 10 V, 4 to 20 volts would be possible, I think I have read.
Hi, I've only used the docking station for Windows7/10/11 and it works without any problems. For Mac, it is specified (in the technical notes) that for two monitors it can only mirror. It may well be that the DP port is the main port, in which case, if it's not available, the HDMI port is not active. It can't be linked to the power supply, because in that case it will have the opposite effect: for one monitor it will work, for two it won't. But I'm going to try the Belkin docking station. But I'm going to try the Belkin station with one of my MacBooks (an M3, and also an Intel) after tomorrow (tomorrow is Fasnacht in Basel) for two monitors (DP and HDMI).
Hello everyone, I need help please ;-) ... I have a Microsoft Surface Book 3 and would like to run 4 screens (i.e. independently of each other, not 4x the same display, but expand screens). I still have the docking station on the Surface, so theoretically 3x USB-C outputs (1x on the laptop itself and 2x from the docking station). The screens are LC-Power LC-M27-QHD-144-C (4x).
