The screen is not curved.
The PG27UQR is the newer generation than the XG27UQR. The main difference is that the PG27UQR has HDMI 2.1 connections. With the HDMI 2.0 connections of the XG only 60Hz at 4k resolution is possible. The PG also has the more modern/better panel and consumes less power.
