Either you need to connect 3 x PCIe to the adapter, or your PSU is fitted with a special cable for these graphics cards, it takes up some space and gives off some heat. I wouldn't recommend a tight case, mine is in a Corsair 5000D. The ROG Thor power supply comes with a special cable that takes up less space.
