It's interesting that you can display the price development. But it's no use if it's not transparent. Today (18.07.2024), at 14:22, I received an email saying that the price had fallen to CHF 509. A few hours later, the price is back to CHF 543 and the lower price is no longer indicated anywhere in the price history. How can you be happy about a lower price if it is already more expensive again at the time of ordering?

I confirm, no processor with the motherboard, as is the case most of the time. Instead, consider a computer that's already assembled if you want to avoid having to buy each part separately.

Is there anything against using the GK at the 16_2 position to get the full splendour of the mainboard? I can't quite make sense of the manual.... thanks for your help.

If I read it correctly, the 2nd slot is only connected with 8 lanes...so not a good idea

If you buy it today, very unlikely you need to update it, because X3D support was introduced in April this year (at latest). So most probably your MB will come with a newer UEFI/BIOS. However updating the BIOS certainly recommended. On the other hand, if you buy it with an older BIOS together with the newer X3D CPU, you will be in trouble because you will not be able to start your system up, therefore BIOS update will be impossible (as it requires a working CPU).

I would like to get such a motherboard, the RAM DDR5 I want to buy has a clock frequency of 7200, but this motherboard does not support >6400. Is it possible to OC this to 7200? or can anyone recommend an alternative product with standard 7200?

Hello marcosabino. The problem is not the mainboard. The problem is the Ryzen 7000 processors. They don't support more than 6000 Mhz... so it doesn't make sense to spend a lot of money for such fast RAM. If you want these RAM frequencies, you'll probably have to switch to Intel. Greetings

Can anyone who has this motherboard tell me if the many problems regarding stability and ram compatibility have been fixed with the latest bios version for this board? there are quite a few negative comments on the Asus forum. Would be nice if someone would share his experience with the board. Thanks

I have had the motherboard since November 2022, at the very beginning I had some problems with 6000MT EXPO Ram, but I have now been using 2x16GB Dual Channel EXPO Ram at 6000MT absolutely stable for 8 months. With the latest Bios update, 6400MT would supposedly be possible without any problems, but unfortunately I can't try this out. Mainboard looks nice, but for the price you have to think twice. What annoys me the most is that all AM5 platforms take much longer to boot compared to the Intel competition, otherwise I am mostly satisfied.

The technical data for the memory states: 6400+(OC)/ 6200(OC)/ 6000(OC)/ 5800(OC)/ 5600(OC)/ 5400(OC)/ 5200/ 5000/ 4800MHz for the clock frequencies. What does overclocking (OC) refer to at the higher values? If I install 6400 MHZ RAM do I have to overclock anything or does that mean if I install 6000 MHz RAM I can theoretically overclock it to 6400?

The standard RAM clock specified by AMD for Ryzen 7000 CPUs is 5200. Anything above that is OC. With RAM, however, OC can be relatively simple nowadays. Intel created XMP and AMD created EXPO for this purpose. The manufacturers store a profile in the RAM that makes the necessary settings in the BIOS of the mainboard if it can do more than the standard clock. You have misunderstood the description: It is not about compatibility with Ryzen 7 XXXX, but about the 7th generation, i.e. Ryzen 7000 CPUs. Of course, this has no influence on compatibility, etc.
