I have connected the monitor with HDMI to my desktop and with USB-C to my laptop. The USB-C cable is connected to another splitter: 1 for the PC (to forward the mouse and keyboard, as my PC does not support USB-C via video), the other directly for the laptop. The screen is stubborn when I switch between the inputs. If I want to switch from USB-C to HDMI with the 3rd button from the left, a computer MUST be connected to this channel so that I can even open the menu for switching. Otherwise, I can only edit settings from the screen if a computer is connected to it. Do others have the same problem? Is there a workaround? Problem occurs with Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.

I can't get the USB hub to work. Does anyone have any ideas? I actually have a relatively simple scenario, 1 PC via DP to the monitor, 1 laptop via HDMI or USB-C to the monitor. Switching works. Now I wanted to connect the mouse and keyboard to the monitor, but neither is recognised. Only when I have the laptop connected to the monitor via USB-C do the mouse and keyboard work, but unfortunately only on the laptop, not on the PC. When the laptop is connected via HDMI, nothing works. What I'm unsure about is whether a USB connection to the monitor is required in addition to the DP or HDMI cable for this to work at all? (but that would be kind of pointless, then I've almost used up the USB ports) Unfortunately, the ASUS manual is non-existent and the online manual only lists the connections, but does not show which connections need to be made. I was able to do some research and according to the user manual, you would also have to connect a USB cable via the upstream port. HDMI and DP do not forward this data in this case, so an image/audio/data connection is not possible via HDMI or DP only. This is basically the case with most monitors (all the ones I know), so that in addition to HDMI or DP you would have to connect an additional USB cable for the data connection of the USB hub. According to the manual: - How to use the USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports: " Upstream: Take a USB Type-C cable and connect one end to the USB Type-C port. end to the USB Type-C port of the monitor and the other end to the USB to the USB Type-C port on your computer. I used to connect the screen to my Macbook air with a usb-c cable without any problem, and then, one time after another, without changing anything, the screen says "USB-C no signal" and I haven't been able to use the screen since... Is there a setting that could have been reset? Or is it possible that the usb-c port on the screen is already dead? (The one on my computer works fine, and I've plugged an iPad via hdmi (with a lightning-hdmi adapter) into the screen and that works too. Unfortunately I don't have a usb-c - hdmi adapter to test directly with the computer...

Sometimes you have to re-select the source on the screen. It doesn't necessarily detect automatically... I hope this helps...

No USB-B port is listed for this monitor. Is it not needed here for USB devices connected to the monitor to work if the Windows PC is connected with DisplayPort 1.4? (MacBook via USB-C)

Hello, in order to use USB devices connected to the monitor under Windows, the monitor must be connected to the PC via USB-C (in your case in addition to the DisplayPort connection). If your PC does not have a USB-C port, you will need an adapter or a USB-C to USB-A cable (this is how I connected it to my PC).

Hello, I bought this screen and I have a big problem with it. It's as if the image was curved forward, a sort of fish-eye effect. The screen is not bent at all and I have the same result with any OS. The problem is that it's impossible to work with it (for coding or even just writing text, because it looks like the text is curved). And I've had the experience of asking members of my family what was wrong with the screen and they all saw that the image was curved. Can anyone help me, because a problem like this with a screen of this price is very strange.
