I have installed a *Samsung 960 PRO (512GB, M.2 2280)* for this mainboard. When I run AS SSD Benchmark under Windows 10, I have about 2200 MB/s read, but only 400 MB write. Is there anything else that needs to be set in the BIOS to get the actual performance out of the SSD? With these write rates, I could have bought a normal SATA SSD for half the price.

Helpful answer

With the 950 Pro, I had to install a different NVME driver (from Samsung directly). Only with this driver did I achieve high transfer rates.
