The price is overpriced even by Apple standards! And it doesn't even include the power supply... You can buy both chargers separately for about 80 CHF. This product should cost a maximum of 89 CHF... I really hope that not many people will buy it, an absolute rip-off.

The right charging pad, no. This is only for the Apple Watch. However, the left Magsafe charging pad can be used for wireless compatible devices (including the wireless compatible AirPods cases).

So no, I've already bought the overpriced silicone case for my Ipad myself, even the keyboard for 200.- can somehow still be justified, the prices for accessories in general like magsafe, the new backside portmonees for the Iphone etc. but this is really beyond the scope. I will look around at third-party manufacturers for a similar product. The price is unacceptable. And then no usb-c, when there would be the possibility to switch here.

Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers. We always try to set a price in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.

Abstract www.emf.ethz.ch ' 3_offer ' study_article Wireless charging For this report, wireless inductive charging stations for small electronic devices were investigated for their energy consumption and EMF emissions. Two technical standards exist, Qi and AirFuel. The first is dominant in the market. Wireless charging requires more energy than comparable wired charging. During active charging, the energy efficiency from the socket to the charging module of the end device is in the range of 50-60 %, while for wired charging it is around 75 %. In stand-by mode, wireless charging stations consume more energy than mains adapters left plugged in. Consumption is particularly high when the terminal is left on the console after charging. In the worst case, more is needed for stand-by operation than for charging the battery. Assuming 100 % penetration of the technology in the household sector, the annual additional electricity consumption of wireless charging compared to conventional charging would amount to about 30 GWh. Wired is more efficient. Eth Zurich is neutral. All those who do not care.
