Do you have a source/link and the exact model where this is the case? Otherwise it is difficult to say whether this also applies here. Basically, there are guidelines on how to clean a display. Which cleaning agents are allowed, how much pressure can be applied, etc.? If this is not a production defect, there is usually no guarantee.

So, the Digitec warranty extension refers to the services specified in Digitec's terms and conditions. The Apple care extension offer has nothing to do with this, this is a service from Apple itself. This service also helps you by telephone through an experienced Apple supporter with questions about the operation of the device and all the software. A very recommendable thing, I have learned a lot this way. Having grown up in the Windows world, I quickly gained experience and can now handle the device quite well after half a year. I highly recommend the Apple care extension, it's worth every franc.

hi epinto, indeed it's a very bad evaluation the one of thomawehul but, careful, it's not about the product but about the service digitec and apple offer. it's is indeed unfortunate that digitec does not have but an awful, impersonal, wholesale client policy (the guy only "smiled" to me when i withdrew the credit card to pay). the hardware is still an international pro "standard", the software is easily updated to El Capitan. so, no problems on that side. i've been using the machine on a heavy duty for one week already. might not be enough, yet but i'm quite satisfied with the performance, the updates and modifications i have made. thomawehul has been, to say, unlucky, as we all could be with many other products.

Unfortunately, we can no longer offer configurations for Macbooks. Therefore, we currently only carry Macbooks with a Swiss keyboard layout.

This is totally wrong, the entire 2015 Macbook AND Macbook Pro lineup (of which this is one) has a Force Touch trackpad.
