This is Apple's model designation and refers to the date of introduction. When it was actually produced in the factory has nothing to do with it. This machine is the latest MacBook Air (as of April 21) and is highly recommended.
I suppose that you are talking about the "Back to school" offer: https://www.macworld.com/article/673191/get-free-airpods-in-apples-back-to-uni-sale-2022.html#:~:text=What%20is%20Apple's%20deal%20for%202022%3F,-Free%20AirPods%20(2nd&text=Thanks%20to%20the%20deal%20university,AirPods%20or%20the%20AirPods%20Pro. Unfortunately, we do not participate in this promotion.
Do you mean QWERTY? In Switzerland I do believe this can be ordered from Apple directly (but often digitec gives better deals). The easiest option is to simply set the QWERTZ keyboard layout to QWERTY and swap the Z with the Y and type as you would normally. Either that or order a QWERTY external keyboard and type with that.
Good question - I have the same one - the information is completely missing for all models - and would be absolutely important. @Digitec: Please improve...
The M1 processor, which is installed in the Apple MacBook Air, has 8 cores. This processor is not available with 7 cores.
The 512GB SSD variant of the Apple MacBook Air Late 2020 comes with 8 GPU cores (whereas the 25GB SSD variant has only 7 GPU cores)....
In this case, you can assume a German layout. Best regards, your team from Galaxus.
Yes, it is avalaible on the Apple website, possibly with digitec but to be verified.

I don't do much with Photoshop now - but it works well for me on the Air. There is now also an adapted version for the Apple M1 chip. Illustrator (which I use more) also runs well - but the app is not yet adapted and runs in Intel emulation - but for me also good!
It comes with the Apple utility apps like Page, Note, Numbers etc. But not with any Microsoft software.
How much does it cost to buy and install the office pack and how long is the warranty on the laptop?
I'd like to know if you have any questions about this product and if you have any questions about the warranty. The office pack is worth between 69 and 99 per year or 149 for a permanent purchase if you are a student.
Please contact our customer service directly, so they can check this for you. :) https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/en-us/requests/new
Hello Stephane I can confirm that the charger is part of the elements delivered with the MacBook Air.
Enough for sure. These new Macs are not only different compared to Windows: they make a massive leap with M1 and integrated RAM compared to the models they replace (also from the same year). Now the price has dropped from the 16GB model and they pay 130.- more for twice as much RAM and twice as much SSD. That's what I would afford.
