Hello
I've been using the AirPods for 2 months now, but not at work and I still use them a lot on the phone. Everyone has given me feedback on how the noise cancelling works and I can say that it works. I like to make calls outside on the street and so far nobody has been able to tell me that I was outside.
I hope this helps you a bit
Noise cancelling on the Apple AirPods 4 with ANC can be switched off. Users can switch between modes, including transparency mode and switching off noise cancelling completely, to listen to music only without filtering out other sounds.
The cases are model-dependent. You need a case specifically for AirPods 4 with ANC, as it differs in shape and connection from other versions. However, the ANC comes from the headphones, not the case.
The AirPods 4 (without noise cancellation) do not support inductive (wireless) charging. The charging case is only charged using a USB-C cable.
The charging case is compatible with USB-C charging cables and does not support wireless charging, unlike the version with noise cancellation, which enables inductive charging.
We provide provisional delivery dates in our webshop and are often dependent on the information provided by our suppliers, who can update their own data. Despite a high accuracy rate, delays or cancellations can unfortunately not be completely ruled out, even for products that are displayed as in stock. In your case, we were unable to meet the stock levels and delivery times, for which we sincerely apologise and thank you for your feedback.
Yes, these headphones are compatible with iPhone 12, provided your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Make sure your iPhone 12 is up to date to take full advantage of the features.
The battery of the AirPods lasts up to 4 hours with active noise cancellation activated and up to 5 hours without ANC. With a fully charged charging case, they can be used for up to 30 hours, with the ANC version lasting a maximum of 20 hours.
Maybe they are made in both places. Companies are getting nervous about relying solely on Chine in case they invade Taiwan and are then subject to sever sanctions.
Yes, the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation come with a charging case and cable. The charging case supports wireless charging and has a USB-C connection, and a USB-C cable is also included for wired charging.
I am looking for ANC headphones because of the noise at my workplace. For me, only Air PODs come into question, as we work with various Apple products.
I would be interested to know what your experience is with ANC and colleagues on the phone at work? I'm currently using the 3rd generation without ANC - I'm actually completely satisfied. However, the people I talk to on the phone say that they can hear my work colleagues even better than me...
Thank you very much for your experience with ANC at the workplace (office).
When using the AirPods 4 with ANC on an Android device, here are the key functions and limitations you should be aware of:
## Compatibility and Basic Functions
- The AirPods 4 can be connected to an Android device, and you can use them to listen to music, make calls, and control media playback using gestures like double-tapping to skip tracks or pause/play music.
## Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
- The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature does not fully function with Android devices. While you can connect the AirPods 4 with ANC to an Android phone, the ANC functionality will not be available as it requires integration with Apple's ecosystem to work properly.
## Gesture Controls
- Gesture controls such as double-tapping to skip tracks, tapping to pause/play music, and call controls work on Android devices. However, you cannot adjust the volume using the force sensor on the stem.
## Other Features
- Advanced features like Personalized Spatial Audio, Conversation Awareness, and Adaptive Audio are not fully compatible with Android devices. These features are optimized for use within the Apple ecosystem.
In summary, while the AirPods 4 can be used with Android devices for basic audio and call functions, the ANC and some advanced features will not work as intended due to the lack of integration with the Apple ecosystem.
Yes, you can connect the AirPods 4 to your iPhone and a PC at the same time, for example to hold a meeting in Microsoft Teams, but there are some limitations and requirements.
- The AirPods 4 support automatic pairing and automatic switching between Apple devices that are connected to the same Apple ID. This means you can easily switch them between your iPhone and other Apple devices such as a Mac or iPad.
- However, to connect to a PC (especially if it's not an Apple device), you'll need to switch manually. The AirPods 4 can be connected to non-Apple devices via Bluetooth, but switching between an iPhone and a PC usually requires manual intervention, as automatic switching only works between Apple devices.
So to hold a meeting in Microsoft Teams via your PC while connected to your iPhone at the same time, you would need to manually switch the connection if you want to switch between devices.
