Hello all, Can anyone help me choose the right adapter? I have a 2018 MacBook pro and a new AOC U27777PQU. So far I only have a Satechi adapter ( https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/satechi-st-tcmam-4ports-usb-hub-7466073?supplier=2308849) that works with one of the USB-C ports on the Macbook. Did I understand correctly that I need an adapter with 60hz or one that works with two ports? Can anyone help me? :-) Many thanks

Well, the screen is bought and beautiful and brilliant and the speakers sound. But when connected to a 13'' Macbook Air via HDMI, I have a real problem. In the resolutions available in the system menu, I only have the maximum (3840 x 2160) or the "normal" (1920 x 1080). Nothing in between. This means: In the great maximum resolution, Apple's menus are so small that it is not possible to work without a magnifying glass. In 1920 x 1080 they are so big that I no longer need such a monitor. I read in an Apple forum that the monitor I bought doesn't technically support anything in between. Even with programmes like SwitchResX, Display Menu Pro, EasyRes, etc. you can't set anything in between and find a display in which the menus are shown in a work-friendly way. Does anyone have experience with this or a solution? Unfortunately, working on the monitor like this is an imposition that is not pointed out anywhere.

That is also correct. Screens should always be operated in the nominal resolution, the size of the display must be set via the operating system (zoom). 1920x1080 is displayed because this is exactly half of the maximum resolution (height and width) and this resolution can be displayed by the monitor without loss of quality. Anything in between cannot be calculated by the monitor down to the pixel, it doesn't add up, the result would be blurring in the image. I don't know Mac, so I can't tell you where you can adjust the display size. With Windows, you adjust the zoom in the Control Panel - Display and then "Scaling and Arrangement". I also use this monitor and have set the display size exactly the same. However, the screen runs at 3840x2160.

I have read that the colour reproduction is rather poor (washed out colours). And the display is said to be excessively reflective compared to other matt monitors. Can anyone confirm this?

I don't notice any distracting reflections on my AOC, the colour reproduction is strong and good and I can recommend this model.

Some test reports (e.g. https://topnewreview.com/aoc-u2777pqu-review/) mention that the U2777PQU monitor has no integrated speakers. According to the Digitec product overview, however, it has 2x3W speakers. What is correct now?
