The monitor has the following connections: 1x Micro-HDMI (version 2.0), 1x USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, 1x headphone output (3.5 mm jack) and an integrated USB hub.
Thank you very much for letting us know. We will be happy to pass this on internally to the relevant department and hope that this will be checked promptly.
Yes, the monitor can be connected to a compatible device such as the Asus ROG Ally via USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode. The monitor has a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode that supports video and power, so a connection via a USB-C 4.0 cable is possible. It is important that the USB-C cable supports DisplayPort Alt mode, which is usually the case with a USB-C 4.0 cable.
Unfortunately, a simple micro HDMI to DisplayPort cable does not work directly, as HDMI and DisplayPort use different signal types. I recommend using a pure HDMI signal if possible Roline micro HDMI - otherwise you would need an active converter, which is rarely available.
This is a mistake, the size is 15.6".
Thank you for pointing this out, I will pass this on internally to the relevant department and hope that this will be corrected promptly.
I've just tested the different frequencies from a PC via HDMI on micro-DMI: 144 Hz, 120 Hz, 100 Hz, 75 Hz, 60 Hz and 50 Hz work perfectly well. With an HDMI - USB-C adapter, I can also obtain these frequencies via the monitor's USB-C input. From my Surface Pro 8 USB-C - USB-C. The monitor works at all frequencies up to 144 Hz.
Note that the 16G3 has a micro-HDMI input, not mini-HDMI.
