So, the processor I ordered on 12.11.24 has now arrived. Now it's time to assemble it.
Purchased on 11.11 received on 30.12
A CPU that can finally render faster and is on par with a 13600 K. A CPU that I wanted exactly and nothing more. I ask myself the same question. I hope they prioritise it after those who ordered it earlier. Because not everyone will get it this year because with the artificial shortage everyone has to expect that you'll have to wait longer than usual.
^+1
I've already given up hope for this year, although AMD has officially promised to deliver November orders on time by increasing production. However, it seems that deliveries are either blocked or there are delays.
I have also asked several times. Once I at least had a more capable employee in customer service who asked in the warehouse and even knew some delivery dates. But since then always the same story and I already ordered in mid-November 🥲
We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with your hobby 😞. We hope that you might be able to enjoy it again at some point 😊.
The expected delivery date has since been updated by the supplier.

Hello, I cancelled my order on Saturday following this message and ordered from the competition. I received it this morning
Maybe Brack will lower the price again now that they have some in stock. I still have the old price at Digitec but it still says until 31.12. But I no longer believe it. I don't know what kind of suppliers Digitec has but they are not reliable or Digitec ordered too few before release. But I also partly blame AMD, they knew exactly how the rush for 5800x3d and 7800x3d was and could have used these numbers to produce enough.
I also placed an order on 12.11 and my order status hasn't changed either. Is it possible to know if I can expect to have it by the end of next week? I'll just need the cpu to be able to assemble my first pc after buying the rest on blackfriday :)
I hope so. Have fun with it! :)
This may well be the case, but we are still expecting delivery of these processors in our warehouse during this period.😄
As the product is currently on backorder, we unfortunately have no information on availability at the moment.
Delivery is late
Despite it not being in stock Galaxus shows green availability... So no, not normal ;)
Only Digitec will be able to give you an answer, but you should know that alternante is a German company, despite the .ch domain. The products are imported into Switzerland from Germany. This retailer is certainly able to order more parts for a larger market than the Swiss market that Digitec.ch serves. At the same time Digitec also has a presence in Germany. So I come back to my original premise: only Digitec can provide the answer.
Does the mainboard give an error on the 2-digit LED display or does it have other LEDs that light up? If the system does not react at all and is dead, then the CPU or the mainboard or the PSU is faulty. Is it a new system?
I also decided in favour of the Gigabyte X870E Pro. Just make sure that the RAM is on the compatibility list and install the new F4 BIOS. And don't install more than 2 x m2 so that the graphics card has the full PCIE lanes available.

The processor has an integrated AMD Radeon GPU. This GPU is sufficient for basic tasks such as switching on a display, but is not suitable for gaming.
