Hello together I got an ECHO 15 as a present. Everything works great, but I can't get widgets to appear on the home screen. I can get into the widget gallery, I can select & add them, but they don't appear on the home screen. I have already reset the device twice. Does anyone know about this?

my wife has dementia and can no longer find her way around the kitchen. question: can i set up the screen with alexa so that i say, for example, alexa where are the plates? then the picture of the kitchen comes up where i have marked the box. the same for cutlery etc. thanks for the info Kind regards reto
