I got an ECHO 15 as a present. Everything works great, but I can't get widgets to appear on the home screen. I can get into the widget gallery, I can select & add them, but they don't appear on the home screen. I have already reset the device twice. Does anyone know about this?

I had the same problem when I got mine. 
I ran the software update and rebooted the device by un/replugging it. The widgets worked after that.
