It is a good idea to use it with the iPad 3, but I don't know if it is compatible with the iPad. I don't have it in my possession anymore

I had also ordered it for an iPad Air, but unfortunately this does not fit and I returned it.
I bought an alternative which now fits.

According to our information, unfortunately, it effectively only fits up to 4th generation. :-(
Apple's iOS devices do not support a mouse. Therefore, none can be connected to the Adonit Writer+ keyboard. (There is one exception: If a terminal server is accessed with a Citrix client, the Citrix X1 mouse can be used, but only in the Citrix desktop environment).
