Read rate is no longer correct. According to https://www.tomshardware.com/news/adata-xpg-sx8200-pro-controller-change, Adata has not only changed the controller, but also the flash chips. The new controller does not seem to have a big impact, but the (cheaper) flash chips are slower in reading (~2800 for the new ones), as you can see here: https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/H8MTrthAmskVep5xYKToWk-970-80.png

I bought this disk in 2tb and it performs really bad. Read write speeds are half as advertised. Did I get a faulty unit or Adata and Digitec are mirespresenting the performance. All tests I watched before I bought it showed around 3000 mb/s read write speeds. I get maximum 2000 reads and 1500 writes.

Hi I have the same Adata Flash SX8200 Pro, 2TB, M.2.228 and following your question did some speed tests on my drive using CrystalDiskMark V8.0.0. Keep your hands off this (and possibly other ADATA) SSD. Performance below any "Oink Oink" and drops below 150MB/s!!!

Are there no drivers for this SSD? In my case, the SSD is recognised as a Microsoft Storage Space device and there don't seem to be any drivers from Adata.

Is the new delivery now also the Pro? Why is there still no Pro in the designation? The question came up 7 months ago. The description says Pro.

Hello The manufacturer only lists a Pro variant under SX8200. Under the manufacturer's number, the manufacturer itself lists the following: https://www.adata.com/lt/orderinfo/583 Greetings

Hello, I am thinking to buy this SSD to build an external drive to work on with my Adobe Lightroom catalog. Do you think that should be fine or will this SSD suffer from heat ? I have exactly that combination and it stays very cold even when I was copying the whole 1tb drive on it. I used delock before and that was terribly hot after a couple of minutes.

Is this the Pro version? (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/adata-sx8200-2000gb-m2-2280-ssd-12234786) The spec lists the item number ASX8200PNP-2TT-C. Is there a known delivery date? The product does not seem to be in stock at any dealer at the moment.

Yes, according to our information, this is the Pro version. The delivery date is unfortunately unknown, as there has been a delay in delivery.
