Sorry, I have to clarify: it's not about a USB adapter, but internally the Mac Mini has a Mac-specific PCIe port. Amazon has adapters for connecting M.2 SSDs, and that's what it's all about. But thanks anyway :)

Depends, if you have usb 2.0 you will have long charging times. But with usb 3.0 and higher you can expect, say, 95 of the normal speed.
