Hello Galaxus and all who read my problem now. I am completely confused. I received my Chromebook R13 CB5-312 today. My uncertainty lies with the mouse pad. I have the feeling that when I put a minimal amount of force on it and try to move it, the mouse pad has a certain amount of play, i.e. it can be moved by about 1mm. Somehow this is irritating for me, because I don't know whether it has to be like this or whether it is a defect. (Maybe something is not mounted correctly in the housing) I am very grateful for feedback, preferably before the warranty expires. :-)

We've had the Chromebook for over a year and the mousepad itself is firm, I just tested it again.
Of course, the two mouse buttons are at the bottom of the pad and they move 1-1.5mm downwards - that could be the perceived play. Otherwise, we are completely satisfied with the Chromebook.

When connecting an external monitor (via HDMI), it should actually be possible to use the Chromebook's keyboard, thus CB in "tablet mode" (360°) with screen down and keyboard up.... is this possible? but the keyboard will probably be locked, or maybe the device recognises that a monitor is connected and the keyboard works? Otherwise, an additional external keyboard will probably have to be used (an additional component that is not necessary in itself).
