Is it normal that the blue LED ring only lights up briefly when it is switched on? Does this make it a bit unnecessary or can it be adjusted somewhere?

Does the 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse only work via the micro USB receiver or also via Bluetooth? This would save me another USB plug slot....

The 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse is not compatible with HiCAD 2021. We have tried everything!

No, at least not as intended. No openings or screws are visible. Possibly via 3D Connexion.

Drivers are available at https://www.3dconnexion.eu/service/drivers.html. However, it is important to know that not every programme supports the SpaceMouse. I bought this for use with a CAD programme that supports the SpaceMouse. I would check this first, as no other software on my mac supports the SpaceMouse (but it may be that other programs do). Maybe it looks better on Windows.
