Purecrea Stepper motor set with motor and driver

This unipolar stepper motor set with driver is perfect for small DIY projects involving motors. The stepper motor can be easily connected to a stepper motor driver module via a plug connection. The motor features a gearbox with a gear ratio of 1:64. This gear ratio has a certain deviation. If the motor is always turned in the same direction, for example like a clock, an error can occur. This error can be compensated by periodically recalibrating the position using a light barrier module. This also has the advantage that the starting position can be precisely determined when the stepper motor is first powered on.

ULN2003 Driver:
This stepper motor driver module with a ULN2003 (Darlington transistors) SMD chip is perfectly suited for the 28BYJ-48 stepper motors. Since the module has the same connector as the 28BYJ-48 stepper motor, it can be plugged in directly. The module also features four status LEDs, which visualize the activated outputs (windings of the motor). As the power supply is directly looped through, this board is only suitable for small stepper motors. You can find a suitable library for control in the library manager under "Stepper."
